DAY 1: HANOI TO HUE – THE IMPERIAL CITADEL & PERFUME RIVER (L, D)

• Morning: Our private car will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and transfer you to Noi Bai International Airport for your short flight to Hue.

• Noon: Upon arrival at Phu Bai Airport (Hue), our local expert guide and driver will warmly welcome you. Transfer to your hotel to check in, relax, and enjoy a delicious lunch at a highly-rated local restaurant.

• Afternoon: Dive into history with a visit to the Imperial Citadel, the former political center and royal palace of the 13 emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty. Explore the towering Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, the Forbidden Purple City, and the majestic Nine Dynastic Urns.

• Next, visit the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, a sacred and ancient temple built in the 17th century, sitting elegantly on the banks of the river.

• Evening: Savor a royal-style dinner featuring Hue’s distinct culinary specialties. Afterward, board a traditional dragon boat on the Perfume River. Relax as you listen to soulful Hue folk songs and release colorful flower lanterns onto the water for good luck.

DAY 2: THE ROYAL TOMBS & TRANQUIL LANG CO BAY (B, L, D)

• Morning: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out. Today, we explore the resting places of the emperors:

  • Khai Dinh Tomb: Marvel at the most sophisticated and unique blend of Eastern and Western architectural styles in the entire royal tomb complex.

  • Minh Mang Tomb: Wander through this expansive, symmetrical, and deeply poetic relic site, reflecting the philosophical mind of Emperor Minh Mang.

• Noon: Return to the city center for a hearty lunch.

• Afternoon: Board your private vehicle for a scenic drive towards the coast. Arrive at Lang Co Beach, a peaceful coastal town nestled at the foot of the Hai Van Pass. Check into your hotel and spend the rest of the afternoon swimming in the turquoise waters or strolling along the pristine sandy beach.

DAY 3: COASTAL SUNRISE & RETURN TO HANOI (B, L)

• Noon: Check out of your hotel and enjoy a delicious local lunch.
