OPTION 1: THE MORNING TOUR (08:30 – 12:30)

• 08:30 AM: Our expert guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. We begin our historical journey at the Ho Chi Minh Complex. Stroll through the solemn grounds to view the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside, visit his humble House-on-Stilts, and admire the unique architecture of the 11th-century One-Pillar Pagoda.

• 10:00 AM: Move on to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university built in 1070. Dedicated to Confucius, this beautifully preserved complex of courtyards and pavilions offers a deep dive into the country’s feudal educational system.

• 11:15 AM: It is time to dive into the vibrant local life! Enjoy a relaxing ride on a traditional Cyclo (or an Electric Buggy) through the narrow, bustling streets of the Hanoi Old Quarter and around the scenic Hoan Kiem Lake.

• 12:00 PM: We conclude our tour at an authentic corner café hidden in the Old Quarter. Sip on a strong Vietnamese drip coffee or refreshing tea while chatting with your guide about the daily life of modern Hanoians.

• 12:30 PM: Drop-off safely at your hotel.

OPTION 2: THE AFTERNOON TOUR (13:30 – 17:30)

• 13:30 PM: Pick up from your hotel. We start the afternoon by visiting the Temple of Literature, the pinnacle of traditional Vietnamese architecture and the symbol of the nation’s profound respect for education.

• 14:30 PM: Take a scenic drive to the massive West Lake to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda. Standing gracefully on a small peninsula, it is the oldest Buddhist pagoda in Hanoi, dating back to the 6th century.

• 15:30 PM: Return to the city center to explore the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake and cross the vivid red The Huc Bridge. We will also take a short walk to visit the Ma May Ancient House, a meticulously preserved 19th-century merchant home.

• 16:30 PM: Experience the chaotic charm of the Hanoi Old Quarter from the comfortable seat of a traditional Cyclo (or Electric Buggy).

• 17:15 PM: Wrap up your exploration at a local street-side café. Enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee, soak in the vibrant atmosphere, and reflect on the day’s discoveries.

• 17:30 PM: Drop-off safely at your hotel.
